I'm Sam Mistry, founder of Assisting Hands Home Care in Loudoun County. My commitment to the health and well-being of our clients, especially aging parents and the baby boomer generation, drives our mission to deliver impactful care.

We are devoted to enhancing well-being, elevating quality of life, and fostering independence. Together with my wife, our in-house Physician, we bring a balanced approach to your family’s health and lifestyle needs, ensuring a continuum of care that's both compassionate and professional.

Beyond our services, I am deeply invested in the fabric of our community. My family and I actively engage in local initiatives, from organizing food drives to supporting community centers. It’s our way of nurturing the community that entrusts us with their care. We believe in creating a society where excellent quality of life is accessible to all.

Kajal Roy, M.D.
Medical Director

Kajal has 15+ years of experience providing medical care to elderly patients in the hospital setting. She obtained her medical degree from The Medical University of Silesia in Katowice, Poland followed by residency in Internal Medicine at North Shore Long Island Jewish Health System in Queens, NY. She is board certified by The American Board of Internal Medicine and was awarded The Top Doctor Award while treating patients in Maryland. Throughout her experience in the hospital, she realized that there are many Signs and symptoms that can be watched for in the outpatient setting regardless of where patients live to prevent hospitalization. Powered with the knowledge of prevention Dr. Roy strives to help keep our patients out of the hospital and in their homes. She currently has an Internal Medicine practice in Leesburg, VA where she focuses on prevention and treatment of multiple medical conditions such as diabetes, obesity, high blood pressure, heart failure and much more.

Care Coordinator

Hello, I'm Tammy Dunlap, your Care Coordinator. With two decades in Human Resources, eight years as a Caregiver, and three as a Coordinator, I blend HR expertise with real caregiving experience. My passion is crafting positive, impactful experiences for both caregivers and clients.

My role involves more than scheduling and planning; it's about understanding the needs and nuances of every individual in our care. I'm committed to fostering a supportive environment that respects the dignity and autonomy of our clients while ensuring our caregivers have the resources and support they need to excel. With a dedication to quality care and a nurturing approach, I strive to make a significant difference in the lives of those we serve.
