Set Some Recurring Alarms

Alarms can be annoying, that’s for sure. But they can also help you to stay on target with your day and with your senior’s routine, which can be a major source of stress for you. Try setting alarms for various times of the day to remind you what happens when. You might also want to set some that remind you to breathe or to take a break. Do this the easy way, though. Instead of setting up new alarms every single day, use the recurring alarm feature.

Sync Your Calendar

You might prefer keeping your calendar on paper, but tasks and appointments can still fall through the cracks. The easiest way to deal with this might be to synchronize your appointments and tasks with the electronic calendar app on your smartphone. Even if you don’t want to store the entire appointment on the calendar, it might be a good idea to include a note that directs you to your paper calendar.

Record Notes to Yourself

Almost every smartphone has both a built-in note-taking application and an audio-recording application. You can create a note for yourself that you add to as necessary. You can also leave voice notes for yourself. Both are fast and easy to do and they can save you time and energy. Later, you’ll have the information you needed and you can delete the files when you are finished with them.
